Dr. Lynn Smith
OBJECTIVE: To train and assist in the certification of dental assistants on a fast track, highly motivated level, using cutting edge learning techniques such as powerpoint presentations, repetition, review, and practical experience. By practicing the procedures over and over again, the student will build the confidence and competence to apply for any dental assisting position in a general dentist’s office. Here we bridge the gap between technology and teaching methods.

As a practicing dentist for over 20 years and employing a competent teaching staff, Dr. Smith will be using cutting edge learning techniques, designed to deliver the knowledge and technical skills which are required in the highly technical field of dentistry. Being able to provide proven and reliable methods, it is now possible to educate the motivated students in a short period of time, without sacrificing the practical experience necessary to succeed.

EDUCATION
During college Dr. Smith studied Logic and Philosophy at Portland State University. After graduating from Oregon Health Science University (OHSU), Dr. Smith received a General Dentistry Residency Certificate from Martin Luther King, General Hospital in Los Angeles, California. To further his overall knowledge in business, law, and organization, Dr. Smith attended and received his law degree from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. With this wealth of education, he brings it all together in management and teaching of his dental assisting program. With his highly trained and motivated staff, he has determined to make Certified Dental Careers a continuing model for fast track training and education.
