Requirements to register for the class are:

1) Be committed to completing the class.
2)Tour our Facility
3)Set up a personal interview with our CDC Director

Class Fee: $995.00, with $500.00* ( non refundable) Due at Registration.
$795.00 for Dentists paying for an enrolling employee(s) who will do their internship training at your office.

*Your registration must returned in with $500.00 of the class fee or it will be considered incomplete & will
be returned to you. The retaining payment secures each students spot in the class.
You know you are officially registered when you receive your welcome packet.
If you do not receive a welcome packet, you are not registered and your name will be placed on a waiting
list for the following class.
Certified Dental Careers, LLC is licensed by the Department of Education and Radiation Safety
Department of the Department of Health and Safety.

Course Content


Class includes lectures and hands-on clinical training dealing with x-ray
production, x-ray radiation safety, x-ray placement/techniques, x-ray
diagnosis, mounting, equipment use, maintenance, and more as required by
the State of Oregon, and DANB.

The class curriculum is a total of 30 hours of mandatory classroom lecture
and clinical hands-on training, which will be completed at Dr. Smiths office.
A 20 hour externship is recommended, but nor required.
Students are required to wear appropriate attire ( Scrubs and White Shoes).

At the completion of the class curriculum the student will receive their
certificate of completion and will be eligible to take both the DANB &
R.H.S examination (cost: $150.00) & the Clinical Radiology Proficiency
Exam (cost: $170.00) The exam fee’s are separate and not included in the
class fee!!

In order to obtain a Dental Radiology License, which never expires and needs no continuing education to
keep certification, you will need to complete three requirements:
1) State approved 30 hour Radiology Course
2) DANB-Radiation Health and Safety Examination
3) DANB-Clinical Full Mouth Exam
The License is good in Oregon but training can be transferred to other states through DANB, which is
Nationally accredited certification. www.danb.org
